Rosetta Verde originated in the jazz ensemble at ASU, where Kris Hill (guitar), Adrian Goldenthal (bass), and Emerson Laffey (percussion) formed the funk/fusion band Green Rosetta. After pursuing individual paths into flamenco—Kris even studying flamenco guitar in Spain—they reunited to create Rosetta Verde, blending their diverse musical backgrounds into a modern flamenco sound.
