Having worked in live music scenes from St. Louis to South Florida, New York City, and now Phoenix, AZ, Deal James has built a career grounded in authenticity, adaptability, and passion.

In addition to performing, Deal spent three years in NYC as a booking agent, signing artists and managing high-profile accounts with a keen eye for talent and an ear for what connects. A natural mentor and collaborator, Deal has also worked behind the scenes—producing, songwriting, and coaching artists to bring out their best both in the studio and on stage.

A skilled rhythm and lead guitarist, Deal James is also a dedicated music teacher, offering private instruction in guitar, bass, and vocals. With a distinct vocal style and a heartfelt connection to every song performed, Deal brings a refreshing, artist-first energy to the Berly World roster.
